OCTOBER 2018 EDA INCLUSIVE BY WEST KENNERLY

This month’s EDA Inclusive is a continuation of my June blog featuring more previously unseen video that I shot of Jewel and The Rugburns on April 11, 1997, with upgraded audio courtesy of Alan Bershaw. This is one of my favorite versions of the Steve Poltz and Jewel songwriting collaboration “Silver Lining.”  Here Jewel sings it with Steve Poltz, backed by The Rugburns rhythm section of Jeff "Stinky" Aafedt (snare drum) and John Castro (bass). Check out Jewel’s cool rings back then which are like her incredible jewelry at Songlines. I’m sure the EDA’s who were there that night would agree that it was a magical show at one of San Diego’s great music venues, Java Joe’s!
