Pieces Of You 25th Anniversary
I am so excited! It's the 25th anniversary of my first album, Pieces Of You, the album that changed my life forever. To celebrate, I’ve created a bunch of deluxe editions of the original album that will be available on November 20th. I also thought I would do something special. And something I've never done before, which is sing the entire album in sequence. Top to bottom.
Shockingly, I've never sung this album in its entirety, so I thought it would be really fun. Because we can't tour and in person shows right now due to the ‘Rona, i thought I’d do a 25th anniversary show for us all online. In some ways i think this is even better, because everyone all over the world can join! I will do this live show at the Sheridan Opera House because I want it to look good and not like a zoom call. (I could die w the zoom calls already) I am getting kind of artsy, designing a back drop that I am building and sewing together with my friends here. I am hiring a great production team to film it so it has multiple angles and so you feel like you're there... Steve Poltz is flying out and quarantining and going to perform with me! This means so much to me, as he has been in my musical life since I was 18, before I got signed. He played guitar in the studio for that album when I was too nervous to play for myself. We wrote songs and toured all over the world together. So I knew he needed to be part of this show. And I am working hard to learn all those damn alternate tunings and 6 minute long songs.... I may never do a show like this, of this album in its entirety again, so don't miss it.

About the vinyl and digital reissues- Alan and I put together the ultimate fan editions. Actually, some of it makes me cringe because my guitar playing is novice and my talking is .... a lot. But Alan said you would love it, so we are doing it! The deluxe editions of the album will include unreleased b-sides and rarities, demos and outtakes, live performances from the Inner Change & more. One even has a live set compiled of the nights Atlantic recorded the live show. This is the one that makes me cringe because every eighteen year-old thought that enters my head is recorded... its like having an awkward high school photo of yours come to life and talk for an hour. But, it's honest. See all the versions below.

What poster you ask? It's one of my original drawings from before I had my record made. It was a flyer I handed out to fans at the Inner Change, and so I am making a limited anniversary edition print available of it.
I am also working with dear sister Amy Yeung from Orenda Tribe on a new line of merch just for this, and I’m so excited to make this wearable art as an extension of my heart and songs. And I am doing a collaboration with a fan- More on that later!
