Jewel Info Roundup!
Hi All,
With Jewel’s birthday this weekend (on Sunday!) and so much else going on simultaneously, I thought I’d blog a sort of “Jewel info roundup,” containing the numerous updates of late in one handy place. I’ll try to do this more often as the album and tour launches. In the meantime, this should get you all caught up.
Jewel’s tour dates are listed here on the calendar and are on sale now with VIP packages available at select locations. The new album release soon approaches and theres a number of ways that you can pre-order online. Heres the basics about online pre-sales:
Presales for “Sweet & Wild” as well as autographed copies and the deluxe packages are availble right now here on Jewel's site at Sweet & Wild Pre-Sale. If you order by June 3rd you should get it by the 8th (release day).
The I-Tunes pre-sale begins this coming Tuesday May 25th and those who pre-order get an exclusive bonus track of the “Angel Needs A Ride” that Jewel spontaneously ressurected in Baltimore late last year. It’s a remarkable live recording available nowhere else.
Amazon also has presale available now and you can view a video of Jewel discussing the album production process here.
The new "Sweet & Wild" album will also be available at the usual retail stores beginning on release day June 8th. On the previous night June 7th you can be a part of the most high-tech album release party ever when Velocity FIRST SPIN presents Jewel’s Worldwide Album Launch Party and High-Definition Concert Event! See previous two blogs and visit http://www.velocityboxoffice.com for all the interesting details and locations. Many locations include multi-course dinners including Hartford which is where you’ll find us. I’m quite curious about the technology myself! Hope to catch up with some of you there.
If you haven’t seen Jewel’s new video for “Satisfied” you can watch it on CMTs site here: http://bit.ly/clQc3r Also if you have never seen the original (pre-Valentines Day movie-clip-inserts) edit of Jewel’s previous video for "Stay Here Forever" you can watch that right here:http://tiny.cc/w29t5
