PLATINUM ARTIST JEWEL TO HOST FREE PRIVATE CONCERT

Fans From Across the U.S., Australia and Europe Will Enjoy an Intimate Performance

of Classic Songs, Rare B-Sides and New Material

Singer/Songwriter Jewel will host a free concert for her online community on Sunday, April 17th in her now home state of Texas.  The “Every Day Angels,” a name her most devoted fans gave themselves years ago, is derived from a lyric of her song “I’m Sensitive.”  The first 200 fans who signed up were awarded one ticket to the private show, plus a guest admission to her Dallas, TX show. 

“I have the most loyal and loving fans.  I wanted to do something special for them and only them to show how much I appreciate having them in my life,” said Jewel.  “They are the reason I make a living doing what I love.  This is my way to say thank you.”

Fans who have registered for the once-in-a-lifetime private concert are traveling from as far away as Australia and Europe.  Some surprises for the loyal fans include a hand-drawn concert t-shirt by Jewel, carrying the names of every attendee registered at the concert.  One-of-a-kind Jewel merchandise and hard to find vintage material will be available as well.

For fans unable to attend the show in person, Jewel will be broadcasting her show online LIVE via ustream. 

Currently, Jewel is working on a children’s themed album that will be released this fall.  It is a follow-up to her successful independent release, Lullaby.  She is also starring in a new Bravo series, Platinum Hit, airing May 30th.
